Personal Care Assistance

• Meal Preparation: Assistance with light meal preparation, microwaveable meals, and light cooking.
• Housekeeping: Light housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, doing laundry, changing bed sheets, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and taking out the trash.
• Dressing Assistance: Helping with dressing, putting on shoes, accessories, and compression socks.
• Bathing & Hygiene Care: Assistance with bathing, including sponge baths, showers, partial baths, hair washing, and applying lotion.
• Feeding Assistance: Support with eating, encouraging/restricting fluids based on medical guidelines, and assisting with special diet plans.
• Grooming: Help with personal hygiene, including oral care, hair care, and toenail filing.

Mobility Assistance

• Transfers & Ambulation: Support with walking, use of a Hoyer lift, assisting with transfers, turning/repositioning, and providing stand-by assistance.
• Physical Therapy Support: Following basic physical therapy guidelines and assisting with daily walks.

Toileting Assistance

• Help with using the commode, bedpan, incontinence care, hygiene assistance, and changing briefs.

Companionship & Emotional Support

• Engaging in activities such as watching TV, playing games or puzzles, listening to music, reading, taking walks, and doing crafts.
• Providing comfort and companionship for our clients, enhancing their quality of life.

Transportation & Errands

• Providing transportation for doctor appointments, errands, and shopping.

Medication Reminders

• Medication reminders, including reminders for life alert systems, oxygen, and blood sugar checks.
• Assisting with daily weights and other vital sign monitoring.

Pet Care

• Caring for pets, feeding them, watering, and cleaning litter boxes (at caregiver’s discretion). Note: We do not pick up feces/urine or walk dogs.

Additional Services

• Deep Cleaning: Assistance with cleaning out storage areas and moving large items.
• Yard Work/Snow Removal: Light yard work and snow removal tasks.
• Grooming: Help with nail filing, toenail trimming, and cutting hair.
• Medication Management: Administering and organizing medications, including over-the-counter medications and eye drops (without physically touching medication outside of its container).
• Wound Care: Calostomy site care and applying prescribed barrier creams (no active wound care).

Unpermitted Tasks

• Heavy housekeeping tasks and other activities not explicitly mentioned above.
